The NovaTax application is a news and information website that is sold via ecommerce application. By using the NovaTax application, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

- Phone Number
- Employer/Company

If you purchase NovaTax's products and services, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction. 

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. As part of our AI-powered products and services, including Tax Advisor AI, users may submit questions, prompts, requests, uploaded documents, tax research inquiries, communications, and other content ("User Content").

Our Services may generate responses, analyses, recommendations, summaries, and other outputs based on User Content ("AI Outputs"). 

NovaTax may collect, store, process, analyze, and retain User Content and AI Outputs inorder to:

- Deliver AI-powered functionality and responses
- Monitor performance, accuracy, reliability, and security of the Services
- Troubleshoot errors, provide customer support, and investigate misuse of the Services
- Develop new products, features, and functionality
- Improve NovaTax's proprietary products, services, artificial intelligence systems, and machine learning capabilities. 

NovaTax may create aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data derived from User Contentand AI Outputs and may use such information for analytics, benchmarking, research, product development, and service improvement purposes.

NovaTax will not sell User Content or AI Outputs to third parties.

NovaTax may use customer prompts, questions, uploaded documents, AI interactions, and AI-generated outputs to improve NovaTax's proprietary products, services, research capabilities, and artificial intelligence systems. However, NovaTax does not knowingly permit third-party AI providers to use customer content to train publicly available foundation models or publicly available artificial intelligence systems on behalf of NovaTax. Customer content remains subject to the confidentiality and security protections described in this Privacy Policy. 

NovaTax collects and uses your personal information to operate, maintain, and deliver the products and services you have requested. NovaTax may also use your personal information to:

NovaTax does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

NovaTax may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to NovaTax, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. 

NovaTax may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on NovaTax or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of NovaTax; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of NovaTax, or the public. 

NovaTax may utilize third-party technology providers, cloud hosting providers, artificial intelligence service providers, and other vendors to deliver certain features and functionality of the Services. 

In connection with providing AI-powered features, NovaTax may transmit User Content to trusted service providers solely for the purpose of generating responses, operating the Services, improving NovaTax's products and services, maintaining security, and supporting functionality requested by users. Such providers are contractually required to maintain the confidentiality and security of information provided to them and may not use such information except as necessary to provide services to NovaTax. 

NovaTax does not sell customer prompts, uploaded documents, AI interactions, or AI-generated responses to third parties.

Users may choose to submit tax, financial, business, or other confidential information while using the Services. 

NovaTax employs commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect such information. 

Users should avoid submitting Social Security numbers, taxpayer identification numbers, financial account numbers, protected health information, or other highly sensitive personal information unless necessary for the intended use of the Services. 

While NovaTax takes reasonable steps to protect information submitted through the Services, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and NovaTax cannot guarantee absolute security.

NovaTax secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. NovaTax uses the following methods for this purpose: 

- Stripe payment platform has secure payment encryption. 

We strive to take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or alteration of your personal information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. NovaTax does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this application. 

From time to time, NovaTax may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication.

In order to improve our Services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from NovaTax or click on a link therein. 

If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from NovaTax, you may opt out of suchc ommunications by clicking on the UNSUBSCRIBE button.

We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted. 

NovaTax may retain personal information, User Content, AI prompts, uploaded documents, AI Outputs, and related usage information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill contractual obligations, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, improve products and services, and protect NovaTax's legitimate business interests. 

Retention periods may vary depending upon the nature of the information and applicable legal requirements.

NovaTax reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our application, and/or by updating any privacy information. Your continued use of the application and/or Services available after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
